Oral B 5000 vs Sonicare 9500 – Which is Better?

Oral B 5000 vs Sonicare 9500

Oral B 5000 vs Sonicare 9500After the Oral B Electric Toothbrush company started gaining a very wide lead in terms of popularity, recommendations, and functionality over the Sonicare power toothbrush company, Sonicare decided to release it’s best oral care system to date.

So with that in mind, I decided to put these two toothbrushes up against each other to determine which one of these I’d prefer. It was a tough decision as both of these toothbrushes are really amazing and definitely the top of the line for both brands…

By releasing the Sonicare 9500, probably the most customizable toothbrush available, Sonicare has brought back the attention of many of its users who switched over to Oral B.

This toothbrush really gives its users a all over mouth cleaning. While this brush is a bit pricey, many people find it to be worth every penny spent!

Sonicare 9500 Full list of Features

The Oral B Professional Care 5000 just solidified the company’s dedication to providing some of the best oral care devices available. With it’s added feature, the Deep Clean mode, on top of all of the other features the Oral B PC 5000 borrowed from the 9900 (the previous best brush available on the market), this electric toothbrush put itself on the top of the list of best available toothbrushes according to Electric Toothbrush Ratings.

Oral B 5000 List of Features

Which one is better – Oral B 5000 or Sonicare 9500?

In my own personal opinion, the overall advantage has to go to the Oral B 5000. While the Sonicare 9500 is in fact a sonic toothbrush creating a dynamic cleaning fluid action, I feel that the pulsations and oscillations that the Oral B toothbrush offers makes it more like a dentist tool, which is far superior to any brush. It’s 5 modes of cleaning along with the smart care features are all added pluses to this electric toothbrush.

However, the lead that the Oral B 5000 has over the Sonicare 9500 isn’t by a wide margin. If you are looking for a fully customizable toothbrush or have highly sensitive gums, the Sonicare Elite e9500 might just be for you.

Regardless of which toothbrush you purchase, you’ll be buying a great toothbrush. It’s like the difference between a Ferrari and a Lamborghini, both are great cars, it just becomes a matter of taste. In this case, my personal taste and opinion lean towards the Oral B 5000 over the Sonicare 9500.

Sonicare Elite 7300 vs Oral B 7000

Sonicare Elite 7300 vs Oral B 7000I have been getting quite a few emails from customers caught in indecision over the Sonicare Elite 7300 and the Oral B 7000. They’re not sure which one to buy, and it’s understandable. I’m going to give my honest opinion and recommendation about the two and whatever you decide to do with the recommendation is up to you.

The Sonicare Elite 7300 was Sonicare’s first toothbrush to possess its “next generation sonic technology.” It delivers the sonic pulse that helps to loose plaque and sweep it away. It features the standard quadripacer and comes with 2 additional heads, nothing special but does get the job done.

40,000 pulsations per minute with 8,000 oscillations, the Oral B 7000 features a pressure sensor which helps you develop proper brushing habits. It replicates the same brush strokes that the dentist’s tools possess.

Which one do I buy?
No question, get the Oral B 7000 if you’re undecided. For some time now, Oral B has been slowly taking the lead in the electric toothbrush competition. They’ve been doing it by incorporating useful and beneficial features into all of their toothbrushes. There is also the fact that they use rotating brush heads as opposed to Sonicare’s back and forth pulsations. The rotating brush heads replicate the same brush just about every dentists use, so I’d rather have a brush imitating the dentist’s tools.
